EL COMIENZO DE TODO

Todas las historias tienen un comienzo, todos los viajes tienen un primer paso y bla, bla, bla. Siempre ha sido así y así siempre será. Vamos, digo yo ¿no? En el caso de mi famosísimo cómic -sarcasmo, Sheldon-, ese primer paso, casi involuntario, tuvo lugar cuando, como en tantas otras ocasiones, empecé a dibujar caretos, directamente a bolígrafo en una pequeña libreta cuadriculada. Al poco tiempo, aquella extraña y variopinta legión de individuos empezaban a mostrarse como algo más que individuos y parecían reclamar un poco más de mi atención. ¿Cómo decís? ¿Que tenéis potencial? ¿Que queréis que os meta en una aventura? Eso está por ver. Muchos han sido los bocetos a los que he oído decir eso mismo antes :-p

El resto, es historia. Pequeñita, muy pequeñita, pero una historia muy importante para mí.

Every story has its beginning, each trip has its first step and blah, blah, blah. It's always been this way and it'll always be. At least is what I think, right? In the case of my ultra-famous -sarcasm, Sheldon-, that first step, almost involuntary, took place when, as I 've done in many other times, I started to draw just faces, straight will ball-pen, in a small squared notebook. In a little time, that weird legion of characters started to become mora than simple sketces and started to claim a bit more of my attention. What are you saying? You're telling me that you have potential? You want me to put you into an adventure? Uhmmm, let's see. I've heard many sketches saying the same things to me before :-p

The rest is history. Small, very small, but a very important one for me.

THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE

Flash siempre ha sido uno de mis héroes favoritos, como casi todos los de la Edad de Plata de DC Comics en realidad. Si a ello le sumamos el hecho de que recientemente ha sido resucitado el alter ego que mejor encarnó las cualidades del velocista escarlata, Barry Allen, tenía excusa más que justificada para "currarme" uno de mis pin-ups favoritos. El estupendo color final es de la talentosa Karla Díaz, la colorista de Renegades.

Flash has always been one of my favourite heroes, like almost anyone from DC's Silver Age being sincere. If we add the fact that the best guy to ever wear the scarlet speedster cowl, Barry Allen, has been resurrected recently, I had plenty of reasons to produce this pin-up, one of my favourites. The awesome final color is from the talented Karla Díaz, Renegades colorist.

EN EL NOMBRE DEL PADRE

Agnam Allerem resultó ser, para mi sorpresa, uno de los personajes más populares de mi cómic Renegades. Confieso que también es un tipo que me gusta bastante a mí, lo cual no quiere decir que su vida vaya a ser un lecho de rosas. Más bien al contrario. En la próxima entrega de Renegades, de la cual no puedo adelantar fecha porque aún está un poco lejana, veremos mucho más de todos los personajes y, cómo no, de Agnam, el más misterioso de todos los mercenarios que pululan por sus páginas. Digamos que todo se va a poner muy intenso para todos :-)

Agnam Allerem was, to my surprise, one of the most famous charcters of my personal selfpublished comic Renegades. I admit this guy is also one of my favourites, something that doens't mean that his life will be a bed of roses. More likely the opposite. In Renegades next issue, unkonwn appearance date by now, but a bit far away from now, we'll see a lot more from all the characters and, of course, from Agnam, the most misterious mercenary of all inside the book. Let me say that everything is going to be very intense for everybody from now on :-)
